| As of right now.. I will be deploying on ship for seven (7) months to the Mediterranean Sea on 31 August 2008.. Oh boy.. can't wait to be stuck on a ship for that long.. at least I have my new laptop =)
You'd be surprised to know that I'm doing quite well.. and rather happy.. Although, sometimes I still do feel a bit down due to old memories.. But whatever, that's called moving on ^-^
I'm not nearly as mopey of a person as I was, and I'm actually starting to settle down quite nicely.. Too bad it has to involve the Marine Corps.. I am adjusting to the lifestyle, slowly, though.. I am going to be a little disappointed when Trey has to go back to Cherrypoint next week, though.. I wont have anyone to really hang out with, except on the weekends.. But I guess he will be coming here quite often to work on his car at the Hobby Shop.. Rawr..
So.. my new laptop is pretty sexy.. it's a brand new Dell XPS M1730 Gaming Computer.. Best. Laptop. Ever. Ha.. it's really just amazing.. But I guess I'll stop gloating now..
Oh, I have a new girlfriend and she is quite amazing.. her name is Jessie and a few of you know her.. I guess it really doesn't matter.. But I'm happy, so it's ok ^-^

| Apparently I'm no longer going to Iraq this July.. but rather.. I am
going on a MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) deployment.. just not sure
where to yet.. More or less is 6 - 7 miserable months aboard ship with
less pay than going to Iraq.. I'd rather go to the sandbox. It'd make
it a bit easier to buy my truck when I get back.. Ah well.. I suppose
it has its ups, too.. Anyway.. I'm okay.. right..?
